Position Title: Graduate Student Researcher (Joint Doctoral Program)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, variable hours between 8:00am to 4:30pm

Requirements
Work with PI across studies to track data, support recruitment and basic regulatory administration, enrollment (informed consent, assessment) of participants, maintaining local records, work with the clinical research teams to effectively coordinate and provide care for the patients following the study protocol.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
· Participates in research group meetings
· Coordinates research group timelines and deadlines.
· Translates funded research grants into project protocols
· Implements project protocols.
· Liaise with VMRF and VA across multiple studies, as well as with study sponsors and consultants.
· Manages regulatory administration, particularly with VA IRB.
· Prepares and maintains approval for data access requests and human study participants review.
· Assists team members with maintaining data access requirements.
· Performs data collection and other research related duties.
· Ensures best practices for data collection and human study participants protection.
· Conducts comprehensive literature reviews.
· Performs simple data analyses and data summaries.
· Reports study related findings and publications to appropriate sources.
· Prepares and submits manuscripts and grant proposals.
· Prepares posters and presentations for national conferences.
· Participates in subject recruitment, data collection, and research treatment protocol administration as needed to support the research group.
· Develops or executes Standard Operating Procedures for large research endeavors.
· Works well with others.
· May perform additional duties as required.
