The Clinical Associate assesses clients, provides crisis intervention, provides individual and group therapy, collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, collaborates with VA, audits charts, acts as a lead on mental health issues for the Transitional Housing programs at VVSD.
Compensation:
The base compensation for this position is is $32 to $35 per hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Clinician documents the following;
- Client Admission
- Assessment
- Diagnosis
- Group Therapy
- Individual Therapy
- Provide Training
- Audit files
- Crisis Intervention
- Other duties as assigned by COO or designee
- SUPERVISED CLINICAL HOURS are provided.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• An individual who possesses a masters degree and is a registered APCC, ASW, AMFT
• Ability to comfortably, both mentally and physically, perform all aspects of job description and other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Must have privately owned vehicle, current drivers license and proof of current vehicle insurance
• Ability to work with a diverse population
• Veteran Status a Plus!
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to bend and lift light objects
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time while viewing a computer monitor
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard
• Seeing to read reports and data
• Ability to speak English
• Must be able to work in a noisy, busy environment
