Responsibilities:
- Operate sanding and grinding equipment to smooth and finish metal surfaces according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure proper finishing techniques are applied.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a metal fabrication shop environment.
- Proven experience operating sanding and grinding equipment.
- Strong understanding of metal finishing techniques and abrasives.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with machinery is a plus.
