Highlights of Responsibilities:
- Experience with storage systems and related components to include the following: Disk Control and Array Frames, SAN Fabric switches and Fiber channel Switches, Storage Monitoring and Management Tools, and Data Encryption Appliances.
- Working experience in design and implementation of SAN and NAS along with engineer level knowledge of designing, administering and troubleshooting, storage.
- Working experience with Microsoft Windows and UNIX/LINUX systems supporting Microsoft SQL, Oracle Real Application Clusters, and Remedy ITSM applications.
- Provide technical expertise to support resolution of highly complex problems and tasks specific to SAN and NAS. Install, tune, and configure enterprise-level SAN and NAS appliances.
Requirements:
- Current Information Assurance (IA) certification (required at performance start date): IAT III (CISA, GCIH, GCED, CISSP (or Associate), CASP CE, CISCO CCNP Security). IA Certification Category and Level (IAW DoD 8570.10-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002)
- Current Computing Environment (CE) certification (attainable within 6 months of performance start date): SAN or NAS Certification
- Clearance (required at performance start date): IT Level II (in accordance with AR 25-2) SECRET
- Bachelor’s Degree 7 – 12 years practical experience.
- Seven (7) year’s industry experience with storage systems and related components to include the following: Disk Control and Array Frames, SAN Fabric switches and Fiber channel Switches, Storage Monitoring and Management Tools, and Data Encryption Appliances.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience with storage systems and related components to include the following: Disk Control and Array Frames, SAN Fabric switches and Fiber channel Switches, Storage Monitoring and Management Tools, and Data Encryption Appliances.
- Working experience in design and implementation of SAN and NAS along with engineer level knowledge of designing, administering and troubleshooting, storage.

- Experience across a range of SAN technologies (e.g., EMC, HP, Netapp) and in converged solutions.
- Experience with Monitoring and Management Tools, and Data Encryption Appliances.
