Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
Administers the day-to-day activities of the Public Safety and Parking Departments in accordance with Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures. Handles all Joint Commission activities as required. The Director of Public Safety reports to the AVP of Public Safety, Parking and Emergency Management and directly supervises the Assistant Director of Public Safety, Physical Security Manager, and the Parking Manager.
Education
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience
Seven (7) years of public safety/security/police experience is required.
Hospital Public Safety/security/police Experience Is Preferred.
Five (5) years of supervisory/management experience is required.
Certification/Licensure
Valid state driver's license is required.
