Description
Purpose & Scope :
Responsible for stocking clean linen carts with the appropriate par levels, delivering clean linen carts to units / floors in a timely fashion.
Responsible for classification of clean linen. Responsible for back-up coverage and for assisting in the training of new co-workers as required.
Responsible for unloading all Commercial Laundry carts, placing linen neatly on clean designated shelves. Responsible for loading / unloading commercial laundry truck.
Responsible for picking up soiled linen from units on a scheduled basis and loading carts for delivery to laundry.
Education :
Experience :
One year of healthcare or hotel housekeeping experience is preferred.
Certification / Licensure :
None.
Other Qualifications
Ability to read, write, and understand both verbal and written instructions.
