The Pines at Sunriver is hiring a permanent Full-time Housekeeping Inspector!

Our Pines at Sunriver resort is looking for a permanent qualified full-time Housekeeping Inspector to join our already great team of employees. Here at the Pines, we are all about creating a fun, relaxing "Welcome Home" environment for our guests! Ideal candidate must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work weekends and holidays.

Position Summary:

As a key member of the Resort Operations Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that owner/guest accommodations are maintained to the highest cleanliness and quality standards by conducting thorough inspections of owner/guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet or exceed established cleanliness and presentation standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures overall unit and public area cleanliness by effectively managing the housekeeping function and staff including staff engaged in laundry, unit preparation, and cleaning.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely matter.
  • Responsible for the training and development of housekeeping staff. Will also partner with Resort Management to determine any future training needs.
  • Manages guest service requests in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Reports employee injuries and incidents to resort management or Human Resources.
  • Follows all city, county and federal government rules and regulations.
  • Follows all OSHA rules and regulations.
  • Perform or assist with cleaning and inspecting duties as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of related housekeeping experience.
  • One year of supervisory experience.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills including use of word processing and spreadsheet programs.
  • Ability to interact with co-workers and guests via verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with owners and staff members.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license.

Physical Demands of the Position:

During the course of this job, the employee will regularly engage in standing, utilizing their hands for tasks such as fingering, handling, or feeling, as well as reaching with their hands and arms. Furthermore, walking is frequently required, along with the potential need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally, the employee will be expected to lift up to 10 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Additionally, there may be instances where the employee will need to exert force to push or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
