Vibe Credit Union in Novi, MI is seeking to hire a Commercial Loan Officer to support our current commercial loan portfolio with new loan requests, annual monitoring, and loan renewals. Build relationships with current members and assist with any servicing needs on current loans and deposit accounts. Proactively prospect and onboard new commercial loan requests and deposit account services. Provide best in class member service for our business membership and business owners in our communities.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A COMMERCIAL LOAN OFFICER
As a Commercial Loan Officer, you will work with our underwriting vendor to submit new loan requests, modifications, renewals, service requests, while mitigating risk to the Credit Union. Present new opportunities to loan committee for formal approval. Proactively source new Commercial and Business loans. Develop relationships with centers of influence to become a trusted lending and business treasury partner in the Community. While also Managing a pipeline of prospect business and report on current and future closings.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A COMMERCIAL LOAN OFFICER
- High School graduate or equivalent. (College Degree Preferred)
- Three years or more of direct Commercial Lending experience.
- Direct business credit training.
- Strong Knowledge in Treasury Services.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and time management experience in high pressure situations.
- Management of a client portfolio.
