Experienced Veterinary Assistant

VCA Raleigh Hills Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant! We seek an experienced (1 year minimum) or Certified Veterinary Assistant to provide excellent patient care focusing on wellness and client education. Schedule: Full-time opportunity. 4 x 10-hour shifts. Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday Compensation: Starting at $23-25 / hour. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Location: 4905 SW 77th Ave, Portland, OR 97225 As a member of the VCA Raleigh Hills team, you will support the Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to: Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures. Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals. Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law). Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging. Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals. Maintaining medical records.
