Veterinary Technician - Emergency Department

Job Description VCA Valley Animal Hospital& Emergency Center is seeking experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technicians to join our Emergency Department. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen, Day and Night Shifts available. In addition to standard CVT skills, the Emergency Department values: Excellent Client & Patient Handling while working in a fast paced environment Advanced tube placement including NG tubes, central lines, and PICC lines Confidence in applying BLS/ALS CPR techniques Anesthesia induction, maintenance, monitoring, and recovery of critical patients Hands Free Radiology Technique for critical patients You’ve worked hard for your credentialing and we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. Compensation varies based on education, experience, and current AZ CVT license: $15 - 24/hour (includes scale for licensed and unlicensed Veterinary Technicians) Hiring for day and night shifts. day shifts: hours ranging 6a - 10p (shifts are staggered),10 hour shift night shifts: hours ranging 3p - 8a (shifts are staggered), 12 or 10 hour shift options available If you are a current associate, you need to apply through our internal career site.
