Veterinary Technician Supervisor

VCA Ark Animal Hospital actively seeks a Credentialed Veterinary Technician Supervisor to help oversee clinic operations and supervise our Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Animal Care Attendants. Veterinary Technician Supervisor Role will include but are not limited to: Directing work flow on the floor Cultivate an inclusive work environment and strong hospital culture Work cohesively with hospital management to aid in the progression of the hospital Help with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard all new associates Assists in the educational development of technicians and their skills Conduct staff meetings Provide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experience Mentoring technicians within the department Resolve conflicts in a professional and humble manner Refining and implementing protocols Ensure that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff Qualifications: Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) Compassion Ability to work effectively in a team and individually. Passion for Veterinary Medicine Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Schedule: Full- time opportunity with flexible scheduling, 4 x 10-hour shifts.
