Position Summary
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for communication with the sales person and the customer concerning potential jobs, existing orders and new orders.
Responsibilities
- Talk to sales or customer to answer questions and develop samples for quoting and ger customer approvals
- Generate quotes and give to estimator
- Prepare quotes and give to sales or customer
- Receive and write up orders to be entered
- Follow orders through production and keep sales and customer apprised of progress and or problems
- Put in pick tickets for shipping
- Adhere to all ISO / SQF / HACCP personnel GMP practices, conduct and safety policies.
Position Coverage
In the absence of a Customer Service Representative due to illness, vacation, appointments or injury, the Customer Service Manager will assign an alternate Customer Service Representative to perform the above listed position responsibilities.
