What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at Vidya Brands Group LLC?
Reports to:
Shipping/Receiving Manager
Job Purpose
Deliver finished goods to customers and pickup customer returns and company supplies as required.
Responsibilities and Accountability
- Provide safe and reliable transportation of finished goods to and from customer locations
- Adheres to SOP-1365 Carrier Inspection – Receiving & Shipping Procedure regarding carrier vehicle requirements for shipping materials and finished products.
Position Coverage
In the absence of truck driver due to illness, vacation, appointments or injury, the alternate truck driver personnel are required to perform the above listed position responsibilities.
Requirements
- Truck maintenance, safety requirements and identifying reporting problems
- Delivery log maintenance
- Load and unload finished goods as necessary
- CDL required
