Key Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, treat, or prescribe courses of treatment for vision-related issues
- Promote prevention and wellness, vision conservation, education, and training activities
- Advise on professional clinical recommendations for patient care
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as an optometrist
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the last 3 years, with expertise in post-operative refractive surgery
- Familiarity with Excimer laser, photorefractive keratectomy (PRK), and Laser-Assisted in situ Keratomileusis (LASIK)
