Position: HR Manager - Skilled Nursing & Rehab Facility
Job Type: Full-time Exempt

This role supports the Human Resources department, reporting directly to the Administrator. This is a highly visible role within the company.

Required Qualifications
- 5 years HR experience preferably in SNF
- High energy and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in health care recruiting required
- Works independently and can self-monitor work status re deadlines, etc.
- Highly organized and ability to prioritize
- Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems required - Paycom is a plus
- Working knowledge of all state and federal laws related to the HR; ADA ADEA, FLSA, EPA, PDA, FMLA, ACA ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the full life cycle recruiting process
- Develops and evaluates recruiting resourced and strategies including but not limited to, recruitment ads, attend job fairs and network with schools
- Onboarding employees: complete background investigations, verify licensure, I-9 & E-Verify, etc.
- Managing employee files (digital and within HRIS) and ensure all required documents are collected and maintained to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Audit Personnel files to ensure they meet compliance requirements
- Conduct New Hire Orientation
- Conduct reference checks for new employees
- Respond to routine employee questions about human resources sponsored programs, policies and procedures and benefits
- Work with facility leadership to increase employee engagement and retention
- Assist employees with HRIS and Timekeeping login questions and navigation of system
- Work with managers and supervisors monitoring timesheet status and notifying managers of outstanding actions with regard to timesheets
- Provide on-site HR support to managers and supervisors, recruiting, performance management, policy interpretation and execution
- Manage Workers Compensation claims
- Support the payroll process and ensure timecards are complete and accurate, PTO requests are approved, bonuses and status changes have been processed in the HRIS prior to submitting to Payroll for processing

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving and process improvement
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- Healthcare experience is desirable
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
