You will collaborate closely with designers, architects, builders, and property owners to understand their vision, recommend tailored surface solutions, and guide projects from concept to completion. This role combines design expertise, sales acumen, and relationship-building skills to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth. Occasional travel to customer locations and job sites is required to provide personalized consultations and ensure project success.

Responsibilities:
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person or virtual meetings.
- Partner with interior designers, architects, builders, and property owners to align surface selections with the overall design vision.
- Identify customer goals and pain points, then pair the right set of products together to meet those goals.
- Educate clients on the benefits, maintenance, and installation processes of various surface products.
- Travel to customer locations and job sites to provide personalized consultations and ensure project success.
- Review, Quote, and Close client projects.
- Achieve monthly sales goals.
- Keep organized data on clients through consistent CRM interaction and maintenance.
- All other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for building and maintaining relationships.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and respond quickly.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address design challenges.
- Proven experience in flooring sales, interior design, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of surface materials and their applications.
- Proficient in CRM tools and other software with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Self-motivated to grow their skill set, expertise, and income.
- Adaptable - willing to try new & difficult things to increase company sales.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client locations.
