1st Shift Saw & Shear Operator
Reports to – Saw & Shear Supervisor
Essential Duties –
- Set-up, operation, quality control, and light maintenance of production saw and shear machinery
- Receiving, inspecting, cataloguing, and transporting of both bundled engineered bar and cut billets used in the forging process
- Housekeeping needs in the Saw/Shear department
- Reviews work orders to determine daily need for materials
- Completes all production documentation and reviews set-up sheets for pertinent instructions
- Removes samples periodically and weighs them to verify billets are correct weight
- Operates lift truck to manage billet inventory
