What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance, Repair, & Operations Coordinator position at Viking Group?
Performs a variety of purchasing duties, including purchasing for crib replenishment and special engineering requests, administering PM system, and supporting quote processes. May oversee the purchase orders to ensure accuracy. Supports other department initiatives that promote organization and streamlining processes in the maintenance area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Runs late Purchase Order (PO) reports and reconciles with suppliers where appropriate.
- Provides support for acknowledgment of PO's.
- Analyzes and approves daily cycle counts.
- Creates new equipment masters and PM procedures. Manages PM change requests database. Reconciles open PM orders monthly. Creates weekly PM order report.
- Documentation of quoting.
- Supports department initiatives, including creating VMI inventory, obsoleting parts, procedures for department, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum 2 years purchasing experience.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong and accurate data entry skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prefer experience with JDE E1 ERP system
