Field Service Technician

Viking Industrial Systems is a small and locally owned industrial equipment company. We sell, service and repair Pressure Washers, Air Compressors and Waste Oil Furnaces in Southern Idaho and Eastern Oregon. We’ve been in business since 1990.

We are looking to hire another Field Service Technician. This position is offered at a well-established and growing small business. To qualify, you should have mechanical experience repairing at least one of the following: Pressure Washers, Air Compressors, HVAC, Automobiles, Diesel or Small Engines. You must be able work well with others, be customer friendly, and have a positive attitude.

Every one of our team members are very important to us, you are not just an employee. You will be part of a team of 3 technicians individually dedicated to keeping our customers equipment running and them smiling. You will also work directly with our Field Sales Reps and the Owner daily to make sure we are supporting our customers in every way possible. We focus on partnering with our customers... we help them identify and understand their true equipment needs and provide them with the highest quality American Made equipment/products available. * Must be willing to work in all conditions (inside/outside, wet/dry, hot/cold, etc)
* Must be able to troubleshoot and use reference manuals to diagnose and repair machinery

* Ability to follow detailed instructions is required

Pay is commensurate with experience. Bring Honesty, Integrity, a solid Work Ethic and some mechanical background… we’ll teach you the rest.

Pay ranges from $18hr to $24hr depending on experience. Monthly performance bonuses are available and are often an additional 10-20%. Paid holidays. Paid Vacation after the first year. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime is available but very rarely required. Opening available due to increased demand (we’re growing).
