About You

You enjoy assisting personal injury cases from start to finish, including maintaining client contact, organizing files (through FileVine,) managing calendars, preparing correspondence and legal documents, reviewing and organizing medical bills and records, preparing demand letters, and assisting attorneys with negotiating and settling cases. You believe everyone deserves respect, regardless of their race, religion, sexual orientation, or level of income. You have an interest in the legal process and are excited by the idea of using your skills to help the injured gain justice.

You have incredible attention to detail, a self-motivated work ethic and you're eager to help our clients. You have experience with busy caseloads and do best when you’re a part of a team that’s working toward a common goal. You want to restore those who have been wrongfully hurt to emotional, physical, and financial wholeness. You have the judgement required to prioritize tasks and juggle multiple things at once to meet deadlines with ease.

You are familiar with Microsoft Office and FileVine. Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish would be a definite plus. You can think on your feet and make smart decisions. Position Overview

As our Litigation Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients through their most challenging life events. You will be responsible for advocating, organizing and prioritizing, demand preparation, client communication, and deadline management. Your meticulous attention to detail, passion for excellence, and commitment to providing a five-star client experience will be key to your success in this role.

 

You will work in a collaborative team environment supporting the litigation of each case. Your team will consist of a Litigation Attorney, a Paralegal, you, and a Litigation Assistant. Each person will have a crucial role in delivering a successful outcome for our client while also delivering a 5-star client experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Medical Case Management:
    • Oversee and manage the medical aspects of personal injury cases.
    • Coordinate with medical providers to ensure clients receive necessary treatment and care.
    • Monitor the progress of clients' medical treatment and recovery.
  • Client Communication
    • Assist in maintaining regular and effective communication with clients.
    • Ensure all clients receive a return call within 24 business hours.
    • Provide clients with status updates and address their inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Document Management
    • Conduct comprehensive case reviews to ensure all relevant medical records, bills, and liens are accurately documented and organized in case files.
    • Maintain meticulous records and documentation for each case.
  • Preparation for Legal Proceedings:
    • Assist in the preparation for discovery, mediation, and trial.
    • Collaborate with attorneys to ensure all medical aspects of the case are well-documented and organized for presentation in court.
  • Post-Settlement Activities:
    • Handle the negotiation and reduction of medical bills and liens following case settlements.
    • Draft settlement closing statements to ensure accurate and timely disbursement of settlement funds.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Case Manager in the field of personal injury law is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with clients.
  • A high level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • A passion for precision, efficiency, and delivering a five-star client experience.
