As a Crew Member at Villa Restaurant Group's quick-service restaurant, you will be a versatile member of the restaurant team, responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure efficient operation and a positive dining experience for our Guests. You will contribute to providing Exceptional Guest Service and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant.
What You’ll Do:
- Guest Service: Provide Exceptional Guest Service by greeting Guests, taking orders, and accurately processing Guest requests.
- Order Preparation: Prepare menu items, including assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other offerings, according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit card payments, and operate the cash register accurately. Provide correct change and receipts as needed.
- Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with menu items, specials, and any allergen information to assist Guests with menu choices.
- Order Packaging: Ensure that orders are accurately prepared, packaged neatly, and ready for pickup by Guests or delivery.
- Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the restaurant, including cleaning dining areas, countertops, and equipment.
- Stocking: Restock supplies, condiments, and utensils as needed to support efficient operations.
- Food Safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food storage, handling, and temperature monitoring.
- Assist Team: Collaborate with fellow Team Members to ensure a smooth flow of service and assist with tasks as needed.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience in a quick-service or fast-casual restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest service and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and a willingness to support fellow Team Members.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for extended periods.
- Lifting and carrying supplies, trays, and other items up to 50 pounds.
- Bending, stooping, and reaching.
