FULL TIME-1st SHIFT/MONDAY-FRIDAY
JOB SUMMARY: Performs project and general cleaning of resident apartments/villas and assists with cleaning of public/non-public areas. May assist residents in IL with laundering of linens. Provides coverage in EVS for other staff as needed. Attention to and perpetuation of the core values and mission of Villa St. Benedict are essential.
One Year Housekeeping Experience Preferred
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & SKILLS:
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
General housekeeping knowledge in all areas.
Ability to perform tasks assigned such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping and washing.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their families and staff.
Must demonstrate patience when dealing with residents who are hard of hearing and physically frail.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Must be able to deal with interruptions without demonstrating undue frustration.
Flexible and willing to assist with all tasks.
