What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Caregiver position at Village Caregiving - Quad Cities?
Village Caregiving is looking for compassionate, experienced, dedicated, in-home caregivers to assist clients on a part-time basis! We have an immediate need for experienced caregivers in and around Dixon, IL! Among other clientele, we primarily serve our nations veterans, assisting them with their basic ADLs. Help us help them age in place! We offer flexible schedules for all of our caregivers!
Responsibilities:
-Provide routine individualized care to the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities
-Monitor and report changes in patient health status
-Provide personal care, such as bathing and dressing patients
-Teach family members ways to care for patient
Qualifications:
-Experience in hospice, home health, or other related fields
-Positive and patient demeanor
-Ability to build rapport with patients
-Ability to handle physical workload
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
