What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker - Street position at Village of Fox Crossing?
The Village of Fox Crossing is looking to fill a Maintenance Worker position with our Street department. The individual selected for this position will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled public works construction and maintenance related tasks, which aid in the upkeep and maintenance of Village of Fox Crossing vehicles and equipment, streets, roads, signs, storm sewers and drainage systems.
Qualified individuals will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with two (2) years of related labor/trades experience, such as: concrete, asphalt construction or maintenance work; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. A valid Wisconsin Driver License (regular Class D) is required. A valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver License – Class A, B with air brake endorsement, tractor-trailer endorsement is preferred, or the individual must have the ability to obtain a Class A tractor-trailer endorsement within six months of hire.
Extended work hours include evenings, weekends and holidays due to snow and ice removal or other weather-related work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.94 - $26.50 per hour
