The Village of Lincolnwood, Illinois (13,463 2020 census) is a diverse home-rule municipality directly north of the City of Chicago consisting of 2.7 square miles, with a unique blend of residential, commercial, and manufacturing areas. The Village is seeking an individual to serve as the Management Analyst in the Public Works Department. The Management Analyst serves as the Departments coordinator for payroll, safety training, liaison to internal and external committees along with provides administrative support for budget preparation, information technology, human resources, project management, operations, and other tasks assigned by the Director of Public Works and Assistant to the Public Works Director. The Management Analyst is responsible for management of projects to ensure that work is completed safely, effectively and efficiently, and in accordance with standard practices and procedures. Work includes contact with the public and responding to complaints and requests. This position will report to the Assistant to the Public Works Director.
Bachelor degree from an accredited College or University in Public Administration, Engineering, Business or related discipline, Masters degree preferred. Two years of relevant experience in Public Administration or related field also preferred. The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics and abilities: attention to detail and accuracy, interpersonal skills, personal integrity, project management, respect, and a passion for public service. A drivers license is required.
The salary range for this position is $71,379.00 - $96,361.65. This position is classified as a full-time, exempt position.
