What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at Village Pharmacy of Lockport?
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to became a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
Responsibilities:
- Gather medication and other healthcare products for patients
- Count medications, according to prescription orders under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Process prescriptions using computer software
- Answer phone calls
- Managing prescription pick ups and processing payments at cash register
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields helpful
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a face paced environment
