Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join our team! As the Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This is a key role within the organization, requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all general accounting functions which include performing month-end process, preparing and booking journal entries as well as associated account reconciliations.
- Developing processes to facilitate monthly close in 4 business days.
- Maintain and improve upon current accounting infrastructure to scale with business growth, including documentation of policies and procedures.
- Supervise accounting/finance staff, including hiring, training and maintaining adequate staffing levels, providing continuous coverage for all accounting functions.
- Forster corroboration and teamwork.
- Conduct regular account analysis to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues.
- Responsible for all intercompany transactions
- Reconcile payroll and benefits.
- Coordinate and assist with annual audits and tax filings.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
- Complies with local, state, and federal government requirements.
- Assist CFO with project assignments.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Must be familiar with working in a high-volume environment.
- Master Proficiency in Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Solid understanding of debits/credits and financial reports
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend and sit. The employee may be required to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
