You are:

You Will Help Our Youth Thrive By:

  1. Providing direct clinical work and/or therapeutic services to youth and families.
  2. Providing clinical feedback and work in collaboration with community providers and school teams.
  3. Provide crisis intervention to youth and families on school campus, in home and in the community.
  4. Providing case management and linkage to services and resources.
  5. Compiling with productivity standards of Villages of California and maintains an appropriate caseload to reach the expectation of service hours.
  6. Submitting timely documentation (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, notes to chart) as outlined in policy.
  7. Continually assessing the needs and symptoms of students and families formulating a psychosocial diagnosis, gathering history, and determining the most appropriate method (s) of providing treatment/Evidence-Based Practice (individual, family, group, case management, outreach, etc.).
  8. Continually assessing client progress and modifies treatment via completion and submission of outcome measures.
  9. Accurately documenting all work with the client and/or family and/or relevant persons as measured by QA standards and peer review audit results.
  10. Participating in clinical/case supervision by coming prepared to discuss current caseload, documentation, and productivity; accepts constructive feedback and direction; and puts feedback into clinical and/or therapeutic practice with clients.
  11. Establishing and maintains rapport and effective working relationships with clients, families, and community; works effectively within the Agency and community at large.
  12. Maintaining knowledge of program standards and policies as developed by Villages if California, the Board of Behavioral Sciences and other governing bodies; develops personal and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in in-service programs.
  13. Maintaining overall confidentiality information regarding clients, families, and operations of the Agency (including media).
  14. Incorporating Agency philosophy and mission in all aspects of job performance.
  15. Maintaining a professional relationship with clients, staff, and other outside stakeholders at all times.
  16. Exercising good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities.
  17. Attending all required staff training sessions in accordance with Villages of California and state licensing requirements, completes all training on time.
  18. Attending and participates in program and all staff meetings.
  19. Adhering to and promotes the Villages if California Mission, Vision, and Values while acting as a role model for others.
  20. Other duties as assigned.

                                                                                              

What You’ll Need To Be Successful In This Role:

 

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.    
  • Evidenced-Based Trained/Certified in MAP, TF-CBT, SS Preferred.                       
  • Experience with state and county Licensing, and other governing bodies preferred.                           
  • Proficiency in MS Office systems and ability to utilize an electronic medical record.                    
  • Proficiency with state and county licensing and other governing bodies.
  • Ability to establish and consistently enforce appropriate boundaries with patients.
  • Understanding child/adult/adolescent development and family systems.
  • Must maintain a valid California Drivers' License, have proof of automobile insurance and maintain a safe driving record based on Villages if California policy
