What We're Looking For:
Searching for a part time Business Office Assistant to join our team. We are committed to serving our patients and helping them return successfully and safely to the community, as well as helping our residents live a healthy happy life while residing in the facility.
This position will work 20 – 25 hours a week.
What You’ll Do:
The primary purpose of the Business Office Assistant is to assist the Business Office Manager with A/R, A/P, and various administrative tasks.
Duties may include :
Performs clerical, accounting functions such as cash receipts and ancillary data.
Assist obtaining managed care and Medi-Cal or Medicaid authorizations including bedholds.
Ensure that an adequate supply of office supplies and equipment are on hand to meet the day-to-day operational needs of the facility.
Assist with managing resident trust fund, including printing and distributing monthly statements.
Answer multi-line phone. Direct calls, and process messages.
Assist with Medi-Cal or Medicaid applications.
What You’ll Bring:
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Individual must have knowledge in clerical functions and computer literacy.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
