What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Vineyards Country Club?
- Clean and maintain all common areas, and restrooms in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary supplies and amenities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Provide excellent customer service and attend to any special requests from members and guests
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, dusting, emptying trash, polishing and laundry
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a housekeeper, preferably in a hotel or country club environment
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- High school degree or equivalent
