Vintun is seeking a forward-thinking Expert Business Process Reengineering Specialist to join our team in support of our Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) contract in Norfolk, VA. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and executing process improvement and business re-engineering efforts for the implementation of the Navy’s Naval Operational Supply System (NOSS) that will improve and modernize the supply chain business processes of NAVSUP and enhance Navy Logistics.

The ideal candidate will have experience with requirements elicitation, mapping business processes, data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to challenging and changing situations quickly while being able to facilitate the completion of multiple tasks and assignments.

What will you do?

  • Provide business process analysis, reengineering, and optimization services in support of the Navy’s Naval Operational Supply System (NOSS) implementation effort.
  • Analyze existing information systems to document requirements and functionality of NAVSUP business processes.
  • Serve as a business process liaison between contractor teams, stakeholders, and functional process owners to achieve business reform objectives.
  • Work closely with the Government and functional area Subject Mater Experts (SMEs) to facilitate workflow design and elicit input from stakeholders.
  • Work with the Government team to identify and provide mitigation recommendations for risks impacting delivery and overall success of the effort.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure documented use cases/user stories meet the agreed to definition of ready.
  • Show traceability and dependencies between requirements (e.g. Epics, Features, PBIs, Tasks, E2E processes) and systems using requirements management systems.
  • Define and deliver relevant metrics that are formulated and used for meeting program objectives.
  • Analyze the fit of NOSS requirements within other/existing Navy modernization efforts such as Navy ERP .
  • Conduct research and interviews to assess and identify organizational misalignments and areas for efficiency improvement.
  • In a collaborative environment, aid in designing more efficient supply chain business processes and requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and budgetary counterparts to support program management efforts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to produce valid and accurately written technical content for various products (e.g., briefings, narratives, and justifications).
  • Develop and present project status presentations using Microsoft Suite.
Responsibilities:
Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10 years of IT experience, BA/BS engineering or related IT, prefer experience with process analysis and information systems integration
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and facilitate business process design and requirements elicitation workshops
  • Business Process Improvement/Reengineering experience
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development
  • Supply Chain Management experience
  • Experience using BPMN 2.0 notation and Microsoft Visio
  • Experience collaborating with multiple organizations on IT delivery projects
  • Must be a US citizen
Preferred Skills
  • NAVSUP experience or Navy Supply Chain Management experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Project Management Certification (PMP)
  • Strong technical process writing ability
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of SAP

Travel
While this position is remote, it could require monthly travel to Norfolk, VA or Mechanicsburg, PA for project meetings.

Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to 30 pounds as necessary.
