Job Overview
The LV Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of low voltage projects within a company, with a focus on various technologies such as CCTV, access control, audiovisual systems, home automation, new technology integration, BDA (Bi-Directional Amplifiers), and cell DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems). This role involves working closely with project managers, technicians, and clients to ensure that projects are completed successfully and on time. The LV Project Coordinator will oversee the planning, scheduling, execution, and monitoring of low-voltage projects to ensure they meet quality standards and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables for low voltage projects involving CCTV, access control, audiovisual systems, home automation, new technology integration, BDA, and cell DAS.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to procure materials and equipment needed for low voltage projects.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that milestones are met according to the project schedule.
- Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and technicians, to provide regular updates and address any issues or concerns.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure that low voltage systems are installed and functioning correctly.
- Stay informed about new technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to low voltage systems and integrate them into project planning and execution.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project team members on low voltage systems and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or management, with a focus on low voltage systems such as CCTV, access control, audiovisual systems, home automation, new technology integration, BDA, and cell DAS.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to low voltage systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
License/Certification:
- PMP (Preferred)
