Serving families in Benton County, Iowa, our family medical clinics are located in Atkins, Van Horne, Urbana, and Vinton.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Family Medicine Physician at the Vinton Family Medical Clinic located in Vinton, IA. The Family Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing primary and urgent care, diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting routine check-ups, managing chronic diseases, and promoting community health. This role will require collaboration with other healthcare providers and staff to deliver comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages.
Qualifications
- Daily Patient Volume: 25
- Clinic Hours: Monday thru Friday 7a-5p; Saturday 8a-12p
- OnCall: 1 day a week and 1 weekend a month as backup to the ED and Hospitalist
- EMR: EPIC
- Certification Requirements: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, & BLS
- Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Primary Care and Family Medicine skills
- Experience in Urgent Care and Community Health
- Comprehensive understanding and practice of Medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification in Family Medicine
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Iowa
- Experience in rural healthcare is a plus
