Responsibilities:
- General housekeeping and custodial duties to include cleaning rooms (chalkboards/whiteboards) and offices
- Mopping, vacuuming, dusting and buffing floors
- Trash removal
- Cleaning restrooms and windows
- Stripping and refinishing floors
- Assist in setups for special activities
- Assists with monitoring HVAC system
- Assists faculty, staff and students as needed
- May assist with snow removal as needed
- Required to work some holidays
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, faculty & staff and other stakeholders important to the college
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or VP of Finance and Administrative Services
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Ability to lift and move furniture, supplies and equipment
Ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds
Ability to read, write, understand and follow instructions
Ability to work without close supervision
Ability to maintain a high level of ethics, professionalism and confidentiality in performance of all duties
Ability to complete assigned duties in a timely manner
High school graduate or GED
