Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery is looking for a motivated Patient Service Representative to join our team. Our culture fosters family, purposeful work, individual accountability, and execution. We're looking for a self-starter interested in working in a fast-past and dynamic oral surgery environment to help promote exceptional patient service. The PSR is responsible for creating a positive patient experience and building a positive work environment.
Responsibilities include
- Confirms and updates patient identification, demographic and insurance information
- Prepares patient chart for appointment
- Complete check-in/out functions
- Obtains patient consents/authorizations as well as insurance pre-authorization/referrals.
- Answering incoming calls, documents & relays messages to appropriate personnel.
- Schedules and reschedules appointments, as needed.
- Maintains medical records.

- Ability to multi task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
