Job Description
- Ph.D. in any area of biological sciences including cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, parasitology, biotechnology, molecular parasitology, microbiology or immunology. PhD must be awarded no more than four years prior to the effective date of appointment with a minimum of one year eligibility remaining.
- Must be highly self-motivated after initial supervision, willing to learn new experimental skills, and to work individually and collaboratively with a variety of individuals for more than one projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Expertise in mammalian cell culture and standard molecular and cell biology techniques.
- Proficient in animal studies.
- Excellent scientific writing and manuscript preparation skills.
- Prior experience with mentoring or supervising.
