Job Description
Virginia Wesleyan University seeks an Enrollment Counselor to recruit online graduate and undergraduate students domestically and internationally. This is an in-person position based on our Virginia Beach campus, serving as the primary contact for prospective online students, guiding them through the admission process to meet enrollment goals.
Duties And Responsibilities
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Experience: Minimum of three years' experience in college recruitment, or related experience in business, marketing, or any field requiring relationship building and/or sales, with evidence of progressive responsibility. Experience in a small-college setting preferred.

Job Description
Virginia Wesleyan University seeks an Enrollment Counselor to recruit online graduate and undergraduate students domestically and internationally. This is an in-person position based on our Virginia Beach campus, serving as the primary contact for prospective online students, guiding them through the admission process to meet enrollment goals.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Act as primary point of contact for online students throughout the enrollment process
- Serve as primary liaison to VWU's campus in Tokyo, Japan, responsible for recruitment and collaboration
- Review online undergraduate and graduate applications and make admission decisions
- Develop, coordinate, and participate in on and off campus recruitment events
- Interview prospective students and advise them about admission criteria, programs, and policies
- Participate in the development and deployment of communication and marketing plans for student recruitment
- Work collaboratively with financial aid and other campus departments to achieve enrollment targets
Education: Bachelor's degree required
