PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Understand and apply safe work practices.
- Understand and apply basic Oxyfuel Welding.
- Basic understanding and Application of Semi Auto Wire Welding
- Basic understanding and application of Mig and Tig Welding.
- Basic understanding, preparation, and application of Gas Tungsten Arc Welding.
- Basic understanding, preparation and application of Stud and Spot Welding.
- Basic understanding, preparation, and application of Specialty Weld Metals Process.
- Basic understanding and application of raw materials.
- Read and understand work orders.
- Full understanding and application of measuring equipment tape measure, calipers etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION PREFERRED/SPECIAL NOTES:
- High School or Equivalent
- Classes in Welding and Fabrication would be helpful.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED/SPECIAL NOTES:
- Basic Math, Blueprint and Measuring.
- Understand and apply advanced math principles.
- Mig Certification helpful
- Tig Certification helpful
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 Lb.’s
- Long periods of standing
