Job Summary:
- Perform financial statement spreading and analysis on new and existing loan relationships to determine creditworthiness of borrowers, by evaluating cash flow and debt serviceability.
- Analyzes factors such as income growth, margins, trends, quality of management, market shares, potential risks of industry and collateral appraisals.
- Prepares credit memos that are clear, concise and complete; submits credit approval documents and write-ups to appropriate personnel for decision making.
- Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
- Perform loan relationship reviews to monitor compliance with loan agreements and evaluate ongoing credit worthiness as well as ensure ongoing compliance with bank, state and federal regulations, as well as assess risk rating of loans.
- Assist lending officers in clearing exceptions
- Performs duties with supervision of Senior Credit Analyst or Credit Analyst II which will provide opportunity to develop a thorough understanding of various types of lending facilities as well as a variety of companies and industries.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education And/or Experience
- BS/BA Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field is required, and
- 1 to 3 years of work related experience and/or training preferred
