The primary function of this position is to perform light maintenance duties that support many and various needs that are essential to the daily operation of the bank facilities. There are four Ada locations that will fall under the responsibility of this position, requiring travel between the different facilities daily.

The following is a list of tasks that will be the duties of this position. Some of the task will be daily tasks and others will be as needed and this list is not all conclusive.

• Pick-up trash and litter from around the exterior perimeter of buildings, flower beds, parking areas and lawn areas.

• Water flower beds and lawn areas during the growing season daily and/or as needed.

• Check indoor light fixtures and replace bulbs in those not working. Check outdoor light bulbs and report the one’s not working to the maintenance department. Must have some experience in this area.

• Perform general house-keeping duties on an as needed basis.

• Clean ATM and outdoor cash dispensing consoles at drive through locations.

• Check all coffee makers in all areas and make sure they are properly turned off.

• Check bank vehicles and fill with gas as needed.

• Shred outdated paper documents as needed, as per instruction.

• Remove snow and ice from sidewalks and other areas as needed.

• Perform light maintenance task that are assigned, which are with in the capabilities of the worker.

• Other miscellaneous tasks may be assigned as needed. i.e. put popcorn machine in storage area on Friday evenings.

• Must be able to work in hot or cold environments as needed.

• Must have good dexterity and be able to reach, stoop, bend, walk or stand for prolonged periods of time and lift objects of at least 50 pounds in weight.

• Must be able to work from a ladder of heights of at least eight feet.

• Must have a basic knowledge of  hand tools and the proper use of them.

• Must have a current Oklahoma drivers license, a clean driving record and be able to properly and safely operate a motor vehicle.

• Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies.

This is a basic guideline of duties. The duties of this position may change as needed to better fit the needs of the bank when required. Example, when special projects are being performed, the employee may be asked to work during weed-ends, holidays, or additional hours. This will not occur on a frequent basis, but will occur at some point. 

It is very important to the daily operations and there fore, the person in this position is expected to report on time daily on a consistent and regular basis. As this position has very limited and often no supervision during the evening working hours, the worker must possess a very high work ethic, be a self starter, be reliable and have a high degree of honesty.  In most cases, all tasks are routine and not overly demanding, however on occasion there will be a need for less glamorous tasks such as plunging toilets, either using a wet-vac or mop to clean up water leaks and cleaning up other messes that may occur.

Although this is a part time position, the expectations as describes above must be met and daily assigned tasks must be completed. In most all cases, the performance of this position is easily measurable and will be on a daily basis. To be successful in this position, a person must apply good common sense and be willing to do what needs to be done.

On some occasions, company vehicles may not be available for use and the employee will need to use their own vehicle to travel between locations as needed. Mileage will be reimbursed for such usage.
