We are currently hiring for an Office Manager at our Olathe clinic to join our ever-growing team of professionals who share our main focus of GREAT PATIENT CARE!
The Office Manager is responsible for coordination of practice functions and managing staff. Administrative authority and responsibility for all services provided to all patients in the clinic and optical shop at the assigned location.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervising daily operation of all areas of the clinic.
- Responsible for the staffing and management of all personnel at the site
- Responsible for the evaluation of the quality of patient care provided.
- Monitors department operations in scheduling patients for appropriate appointments
- Monitors department policies and procedures
- Trains new front office employees
- Addresses patient inquiries and concerns about appointment scheduling, insurance coverage, and payment methods
- Manages performance evaluations and overall supervision of the location in compliance with company policy and state and federal laws.
Requirements
- 2 years management experience, Ophthalmology strongly preferred
- 2 years college coursework or Associate’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years relevant experience in healthcare industry
- Medical terminology proficiency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Paylocity, NextGen (EMR)
