Care Team Coordinator - Visiting Angels Columbus West
Visiting Angels Columbus West is a locally owned franchise a part of the nationally known Visiting Angels Home Health Care. We are looking for the right person to join our small team of leaders dedicated to providing excellent Home Health Services to Central Ohio.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruiting, hiring and on-boarding experience for new employees
- Conduct interviews and see caregivers through the complete hiring and on-boarding processes
- Human Resources:
- Counsel caregivers to meet client and company expectations
- Conduct disciplinary action and other human resources responsibilities
- Recognize and reward good job performance and promote caregiver recognition and retention
- Maintain HR related documentation
- Maintain detailed documentation on all scheduling changes and corrections
- Schedule caregivers to meet client scheduling and care needs
- Conduct regularly scheduled follow up telephone calls and home visits with clients to ensure high satisfaction
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and caregivers
- Occasional paid on call responsibilities
- Other miscellaneous duties that may arise

To be considered:
- Prior experience scheduling multiple employees and clients (Home Care scheduling preferred)
- Prior experience in interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, and recruiting
- Must be proficient in communicating with team members, as well as interviewing and building rapport with candidates during the hiring/interview process
- High emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills
- Able to remain flexible, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor in all situations - this position requires excellent time management skills
- Able to work collaboratively with a team
- Work independently and proactively with minimal direction or supervision
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, scheduling systems and other healthcare industry related software
- Pass a thorough background screening and have excellent employment references
