We're seeking compassionate individuals for full-time and part-time caregiving roles with flexible schedules. Every member of the Visiting Angels team has made it their mission to put seniors and disabled members first, prioritizing safety, security, and personal well-being of every client in our care. Candidates hired for this position will provide exceptional customer service, companionship and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Job Responsibilities
Provide non-medical companionship, and personal care services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
Medication reminders, running errands, transportation to appointments, assisting with mobility and other reasonable requests within the guidelines set forth by the State of Washington Department of Health.
Review and follow the Plan of Care with the Case Managers prior to first visit.
Ensure the Case Managers are aware of substantial changes to the client's care.
Requirements
Must be (18) years of age and have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to successfully complete and pass all required background investigations with fingerprinting and drug screening.
Valid driver's license and auto insurance
Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
Non-licensed candidates are required to obtain an HCA license within 200 days of hire. We can help by offering HCA training options in office.
