Responsibilities:
· Provide compassionate assistance with personal hygiene for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents.
· Attend to basic needs such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
· Remind clients to take prescribed medications and assist with ambulation.
· Aid with mobility both within the house and outside, including accompanying clients to doctor's appointments and walks.
· Assist with personal care, hygiene, meal planning, and preparation.
· Support clients with physical therapy exercises.
· Complete client's shopping or accompany them for successful outings.
· Perform light housekeeping duties and promptly report any unusual incidents.
· Offer support in essential daily living activities, including serving meals and other necessary tasks.
Qualifications:
· Maintain a clean background.
· Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
· Hold a valid driver's license and maintain insurance with reliable transportation every day.
· Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
· Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
· Supportive, compassionate, and proud to provide high-quality care.
· High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver.
· Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and demonstrate eagerness to improve and learn new skills.
· Hoyer Lift experience is a plus (but not required).
