Job Description
We are an in-home, private duty, non-clinical, caregiver agency. We are looking for compassionate caregivers for clients that need help and that want to be independent in the privacy of their own home. Caregiving is dynamic with having demands of the job but is the most rewarding position that you will have. You can make a difference by just providing companionship along with helping others. We have a variety of shifts to choose from.
Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have reliable transportation, willing to commute if necessary, and, have a valid driver's license with current insurance
Must be flexible with scheduling
Must be able to follow plans of care provided for the client
Must be able to adhere to dietary restrictions of the client
Must be able to demonstrate safe use of DME: wheelchairs, hoyer lifts, walkers; training is available if needed
Masks are not required but preferred; hand washing or hand sanitizer before and after meal preparation; gloves preferred if helping with direct care needs

Responsibilities
- Medication reminders; no medications are given or handed to clients by caregiver
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene: including bathing, dressing, toileting if necessary
- Light meal preparation
- Transporting client to and from pharmacy, shops and/or appointments
- Light housekeeping duties for client
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills
- One year of in-home caregiver experience preferred
- Knowledge of emergency response, CPR is preferred
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
Full and part time positions available;
Hourly pay ranges from 12.00-14.00
