What You’ll Do:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with personal care: bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, feeding, oral hygiene, nail care, shaving
- Mobility support: ambulation, transferring, positioning clients in bed, using assistive devices
- Supporting physical therapy plans, passive and active exercises under supervision
- Monitoring and communicating changes in physical or emotional health
- Performing light housekeeping: laundry, tidying bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms
- Preparing meals (including special diets), shopping for groceries, and household supplies
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
- Using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when appropriate
- Documenting care and submitting timely reports via telephony system
Who We’re Looking For:Required Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Completion of a formal certification program or ability to pass a skills/competency test
- Ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
- Neat appearance and good personal hygiene
- Dependability, reliability, and sound judgment
- Friendly, patient, and respectful with a sincere interest in caring for others
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical caregiving tasks
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle in good repair, and clean driving record
- Ability to travel independently to clients’ homes (unless exempt)
- Must be able to work at least two weekends per month as scheduled
