The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to homecare patients.

Responsibilities

Here’s how you’ll move healthcare forward in this role:

• Take part in a two-week clinical orientation to learn key procedures, the EMR system, compassionate care, and safety.
• Assess and evaluate the needs of patients with multiple disease processes and comorbidities and develop an appropriate plan of care.
• Provides education and strategies for patients and families.
• Partners with other VNA clinicians and external providers to execute best patient outcomes.
• Documents all changes in patient’s condition and updates care plans and outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal qualifications for the Homecare Registered Nurse include:

 

• RN with Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• 1  year of supervised clinical experience as a registered nurse
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Car and valid driver’s license

Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors and outdoors with clinical equipment and use of phone and computer; Job characteristics: Client and Customer contact
