JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Instruction, the Global Education Coordinator is responsible for developing, managing, and promoting global learning initiatives that support internationalization, cross-cultural understanding, and global competency. This role works collaboratively across departments and with external partners to facilitate global partnerships, student travel programs, and global curriculum integration. The ideal candidate is passionate about global
engagement and committed to inclusive, equitable access to global learning experiences.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinate and support global education programs, including student travel, virtual exchanges, global partnerships, and international guest programs.
2. Work closely with faculty, staff, and administrators to integrate global competencies into curriculum, instruction, and co-curricular activities.
3. Develop and implement intercultural workshops, speaker series, global education fairs, and cultural events.
4. Advise students and/or participants on global program opportunities, application processes, funding sources, and travel logistics.
5. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with global partner institutions, organizations, and networks.
6. Assist in the development of student portfolios that demonstrate progress toward global competence.
7. Collect and analyze data on program participation and impact; prepare reports and recommendations for improvement and strategic growth.
8. Promote global learning opportunities through digital content, social media, and marketing materials.
9. Pursue grants and funding opportunities to expand access to global education experiences.
10. Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
● Bachelor’s degree in Education, Global Studies, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
● Valid California Teaching Credential.
● 2–4 years of experience in global education settings, international program coordination, or a similar role.
● Strong project management, organizational, and intercultural communication skills.
● Demonstrated experience supporting diverse student populations and promoting inclusive global learning.
● Familiarity with international travel logistics, cultural exchange programs, and global safety protocols.
● Proficiency in one or more world languages.
● Experience living, studying, or working abroad.
● Knowledge of international education policies, visa processes, and program accreditation.
● Experience with virtual exchange or global online learning platforms.
Salary : $60,048 - $102,536
