Position Summary:
Vista is seeking to hire a Director focused on General Credit Operations for Vista Credit Partners (“VCP”). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a fast-paced and successful organization and contribute across various functional areas of the firm as VCP continues to scale and increase its presence in the highly attractive enterprise software and technology market. This role will be an integral member of the team and will provide assistance and support for all of VCP’s funds, including project management on various technology investments / initiatives across the platform to build out the operational infrastructure and system architecture. The Director will also handle many day to day tasks working within our interim state and contributing meaningfully to our future state.

Ideal candidates are analytical and process-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills and have experience managing multiple workflows. Additionally, they take initiative, can multi-task with extreme attention to details, and exhibit an ability to think outside the box. It is critical that this role is comfortable contributing as a member of a team with indirect oversight, have experience managing and directing the work of others, and bring a positive attitude and enthusiasm to the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with Traders and Investment Analysts on risk & exposure management in firm’s Order Management System
  • Knowledge of AllVue Order Management System
  • Project Management of initiatives for Credit Infrastructure /Middle Office Architecture
  • Knowledge of LSTA Trading Guidelines / Principals to help manage the Leverage Loan Settlement Process & Trade Execution
  • Experience with Collateralized Loan Obligations – Portfolio Monitoring / Indentures Modeling; Quarterly Waterfalls and Monthly Reporting
  • Manage and oversee Capital Activity processing, P&L Monitoring
  • Valuation knowledge across Level 1 – Level 3 Assets a plus
  • Work across multiple partners off premise to deliver daily responsibilities of the firm
  • Treasury & Liquidity Management across multiple products including CLOs, Private Funds, and Leverage Facilities (liabilities); Sub-Lines, Liquidity Facilities
  • Reconciliation (cash, position, P&L, sec master attributes)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Humanities
  • Experience with multiple instruments: Loans, bonds, TRS, CDS, Private Equity, Physical Notes, Private Placements
  • General industry knowledge across systems, software solutions, that contribute and add efficiency to the Leverage Loan trade life cycle.
  • Buy-Side Experience preferable
  • Experience in private credit, Structured Credit, Hedge Funds
  • Distressed / Special Situation experience and/or Treasury experience is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience
