What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Group Facilitator position at Vital Health?

Vital Health is looking for a group facilitator to work with our youth population in recovery. The right candidate will have experience working with patients from culturally diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to-
§ Facilitate individuals within a group towards establishing goals and finding objective ways to achieve them.
§ Willing to provide group therapy at all levels of care as needed for youth.
§ Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented client records with a quality of documentation that meets all applicable standards.
§ Ability to participate in treatment team meetings on a weekly basis to ensure quality of care for clients when appropriate.
§ Consult daily with Clinical Director for an update on client needs, special incidents, transfers, etc.
§ Attend staff development and general staff meetings.
§ Participate in and attend supervisions/consultations with clinical management team as necessary.
§ Collaborate with members of the multi-disciplinary treatment team to ensure effective delivery of a full spectrum of clinical services.
§ Comply with local, state, and federal confidentiality laws and regulations.
§ Collaborate with professionals both within and outside the agency, as appropriate.
§ Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences.
Qualifications:
- Must be comfortable working with group dynamics while managing the meeting or activity process.
- Must possess assertive attitude when it comes to talking to a group and changing their way of thinking and promoting a change of behavior.
- Must be able to communicate with clients and staff members through various forms of communication, including email, phone, and text.
- Computer literacy is required. Must be able to use Word, Excel, etc.
- Must have at least three years experience working with youth.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
